Venerable Seck Kong Hian presided over the annual Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony at Kancanarama Buddhist Temple in Singapore. The ceremony was attended by Mrs. Chonlatee Chanrachakul, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore, together with officers from Team Thailand, their spouses, monks from Thai Buddhist temples across Singapore and members of the Buddhist community.

On 30 July 2026, Venerable Seck Kong Hian, in his capacity as Chief Abbot of Buddhaguna Buddhist Temple and President of Thai Sangha Council in Singapore, presided over the monastic side of the 50th-day merit-making ceremony dedicated to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha at Wat Ananda Metyarama.
The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mrs. Waraphannee Damrongmanee, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, and was attended by titled monks from Thai temples in Singapore together with members of the Thai community. The occasion reflects the Venerable's wider responsibilities within Thai Buddhist religious life in Singapore.
Venerable Seck Kong Hian is a disciple of the late Grand Master Hong Choon 宏船法师 (1907–1990). The teacher-disciple relationship is an important part of his spiritual heritage and connects his own Buddhist service with an earlier generation of Singapore Buddhism.
